Pastoral Internship
Training, opportunities for service, and affirmation for those considering pastoral ministry
Duration: 9 months, running from September through May (or the day after Labor Day to the Friday before Memorial Day).
Interns will engage in many learning opportunities including discipleship with the pastoral staff while engaging in a fast-paced, robust program of study intended to complement all aspects of the program. Interns will have assignments of reading, writing, and other position papers. In addition to the focused discussion on the reading and writing, interns will attend the preaching fundamentals class, preach sample sermons, and receive feedback on their work.

Additionally, interns will attend elder meetings, membership interviews, and participate in the Sunday service. At the conclusion of the internship, participants will receive detailed feedback from the pastoral staff.
