Outline: Four examples of God delivering desperate people
1. God retrieves the lost (4-9)

Some Implications:
Deliverance from seemingly impossible situations reminds us that God is not only willing but able to save helpless people.
When considering God’s providence, do so with an eye towards God’s covenant love to his people.
It is the habit of the wise to regularly study God’s love.
