church planting & revitalization

We live in one of the least-churched areas of the U.S. This, along with the truths that the gospel is powerful to change lives (Rom. 1:16–17) and that God is for the church (Matt. 16:18) compels us to prioritize the planting and strengthening of local churches. It’s our great burden to see healthy churches reflecting God’s character throughout New England. This is why we prioritize our resources, time, and partnerships toward church planting and revitalization.

Church Planting

Immanuel Church – Weymouth, MA

Planning to launch in April 2022, Immanuel will serve Boston's South Shore. Planting Pastor Dave Comeau (Church Planting Resident '20-'22) is now holding weekly meetings with interested families and individuals to accomplish two things: to get to know each other and to equip a  team who will plant Immanuel.

Church Revitalization

First Baptist Church – Medfield, MA

Founded in 1776, FBC Medfield had long stood as a gospel witness in Massachusetts. Afters years of decline, the Lord is at work revitalizing this church through the new leadership of Pastor Hunter Guthrie, growing membership, and a vision for the gospel.
